Get out of my source code!!!
HAHA!
Welcome to Mark's
Econoline page.
Please wait while these
pictures of super-cool trucks load.
If you have a truck
that you think would fit in here send me a picture. This page is always under
construction. I hope this page will eventually be helpful place for
Econoline owners. Please help me if you can. Thanks.
Does anyone else know
of sites for the 61-67 Ford Econoline.
Here is a nice site to
check out. It's a nice page and he's got a nice looking big six in
his van.

Pics
Here is a pic page of my
truck
I've had quite a few
requests for schematics, so here they are (from a 66). But do
yourself a favor and get a service manual from Paul Politis.

This is my truck. It's
a 66 Ford Econoline E100 pickup and it now has a 5.0L V8/C4 automatic
from a Mercury Capri in it (
newsflash the 302 is out and a 351W is in--see news/info page
). The things around the
headlights that look like little grills are actually air inlet vents
for the cab. If you open one, you can see right out the front of the
truck. These things are quite light ( according to my shop manual a
std econo pickup weighs 2415 lbs ). They are completely uni-body. The
front of the waterpump on my 302 actually sits behind the centerline
of the front spindles! That makes this truck a mid-engined sports
coupe ( haha ). These things seem to be somewhat rare. I've only seen
a few here in west Michigan in the past few years.
Here it is from the
side.
Sorry about the low quality, I got it
from the dec 98 CarCraft magazine.

a neat custom van
a nice Dodge A100

This is a Dodge A100. I
think it's neat, and would be a perfect companion for my Ford
E100.
I think these came out
in 1964.
This is Kevin's 62
Econoline pickup.
Quite a rare 65 Ford
Econoline Pickup with deluxe side trim.
This really looks
nice.
A rear engined,
air-cooled Corvair pickup.

4 Dodge
A100's
You know, with all the
retro cars Ford and Chrysler are showing and coming out with,
wouldn't it be nice if they released a pickup version of their vans?
How about a 90" wheelbase econoline with a 260 horsepower 5.4L v8 or
a Dodge with a 5.2L magnum v8 ( and they are magnums too ), with
either of them weighing in at about 2500 pounds? Wow! that would be
awesome. I would buy one, provided the price was right.
It would be nice if one
of you who happens to be an artist could sketch an example of one of
these new trucks ( make it short! ).
Someone has come
through with a picture of what a new Econoline pickup could look like
if Ford decided to make one.
I really like it! I
want one with a V10 or maybe a 5.4V8 with a 5 speed.
Thanks
Irving
I remember checking out
a book on drag racing from the library while I was in elementary
school. It had a bunch of pictures of the Little Red Wagon in it. I'm
31 now, so that was awhile ago. That guy is still running exhibitions
with it!
My grampa used to drive
Dodge and Ford vans all the time when I was little, so I'm right at
home with these trucks. I can remember sitting on the doghouse while
my grampa would drive around on two-tracks out in the woods, looking
for deer or whatever.
Some of these trucks I
found on the net, some were e-mailed to me. If any of
these pics are your property and you don't want them here let
me know.
