to show our support for the human right
of self-defense and the Constitutional
right to keep and bear arms. Please join
us in this celebration of the Second Amendment
and women who choose to defend
themselves and their loved ones, and who choose to
exercise their rights as Americans. We
trust you with the truth. Come hear it,
for a change, so that you can make an informed decision.

This is going to be a family event so bring along your
mother, spouse, kids, significant others, and enjoy a
relaxing day. We do ask that you bring a picnic lunch,
lawn chairs and/or blankets.
Unless you are an active member of the military or
reserves, we ask that you not wear camo or other
military-style clothing. We want the coverage of this
event to remain positive and upbeat (as it has been in
recent weeks). Wearing sloppy or inappropriate
clothing simply helps the media portray us
inaccurately.
We will be sharing a PA system with MCRGO from 10:00am
to 1:00pm and would like to take the opportunity to
use it to relay personal stories. If any of you have a
POSITIVE firearm story to tell, and are willing to do
so on Mother's Day, we would like to hear from you.
Also, if anyone has a story but is not willing to tell
it in front of a crowd, please consider writing it and
it will be read for you (keeping you anonymous). Email
us at sas_michigan@yahoo.com if you have interest in
participating in this.
There will also be t-shirts, buttons, bumper stickers,
books, and brochures available that day for a set
donation. Additionally, we will be passing out red
balloons and hope to arrange for an Eddie Eagle
presentation for the kids.
